This is a very nice and cozy mountain cottage. It is 5-10min by foot to the lake. The electric heating is really proper (nights were at 0 degrees), and there is another pellet heating that should make it real cozy during harsh winter. Washing machine worked. Kitchen had all essential utensils. There is a very nice terrace with wonderful view looking across the lake to Lousanne and parts of Montreux. There is a large garden around for children to play in.

The locations was superb and the amenities were first class. The host family are truly lovley people and were extremely helpful and welcoming which helped to make our stay very enjoyable. As we had our dogs with us the ten minute walk to the centre of Yvoire was a bonus as there are rolling hills and forest walks on the doorstep.
