The "buche" is beautifully laid out and the freedom of making a fire at night next to the barrel was just tremendous (wood was provided). All was clean, worked well, and precisely what you could need, a fridge, a stove, a sink, coffee and tea facilities, and a shower with nice hot water instantly. The shower was smallish: 60cm by 60m I guess (maybe 55cm) Parking at premises in a tiny village. Lake nearby. The host was very welcoming.

The breakfast was exceptional, the owner was friendly and helpful and cabin was just lovely. Helpful suggestions for where to visit, and where to buy local produce were provided on a laminated sheet. The twice daily cowbell chorus was a bonus!
An extremely charming chalet with a close focus on being eco conscious (e.g. can't use own cleaning products due to it being a nature reserve, reusable paper towels,etc). The rocking chair as the main place to sit was a bit uncomfortable.
Very peaceful and beautiful location. The chalet was very spacious and well equipped, comfortable bed and private terrace area with outdoor seating.

The cabin was lovely. Even with the rainy weather we felt nice and cosy. Our dog was especially happy for the furry carpet (he preferred it to his own bed).

We stayed here for one night on our way from the UK to Switzerland, we wish we had stayed for longer! The log cabins were gorgeous, and hand built by the owner, the surrounding gardens were also beautiful and created a peaceful atmosphere. There was also free & secure parking. We experienced amazing service from our attentive & charming hosts. They were the highlight of our stays! The breakfast in the morning was also delicious with lots of homemade jams & honey.
