The house keeper was always in touch, and helped with directions. The cottage is very clean. It has a huge space: three rooms + living room + kitchen, sauna, bathroom and toilet. Everything works fine. The kitchen has everything to cook on and to eat from. The living room has nice fireplace. The house is lovely decorated in every small things: we felt secure and home by living there. There is also separate building of private wood-burning sauna on the cottage territory. Koli nature reserve is in 10 minutes drive - and is a nature wonder! There is complete silence everywere - it brings a lot of relaxation and peace to the soul. Planning to return there on the autumn season also. Thank a lot!

Maatilamatkailu Jänisvaara ligger 7 km norr om Koli nationalpark och 4,6 km från Loma-Koli. Du kan njuta av den fridfulla naturen på den finska landsbygden i dessa boenden med självhushåll. The place had everything one would need and it was quite cheap considering what was included. I would visit again.

The location is not far from Koli National park and you can also book a horseback riding from them (if you wish, too- they have icelandic horses!). The property is ideal for anyone (solo traveler, couple, family, and friends) who would like to visit Koli. Also, the hosts are very friendly and very attentive.

Metsäpirtti ligger i Kolinkylä, 9 km från skidliftarna och 10 km från Koli nationalpark. Här erbjuds boende med trädgård och grillplats. Well it was a huge place with many different wooden houses, the main building, one small house for children, one for guests, the steam sauna and the regular sauna. It was like a museum, with msny traditional tools, old pictures but at same time very clear. The boiler was impeccable.

Dessa stugor ligger vid sjön Valkealampi i Koli Hill-området och har en egen bastu och ett fullt utrustat kök. Wi-Fi är gratis i huvudbyggnaden. Koli nationalpark ligger 15 minuters bilresa bort. We spent a few days at Koli Freetime and enjoyed every single moment. The location is so peaceful, the staff was very friendly. The cottage is perfect for a family of four. We also loved the small sauna cottage with access to the lake for ice bathing. The cross country track starts directly at the property. Temperatures were really low (-31 degrees Celsius in the morning) but the cottage was warm and cozy. Big thanks for providing providing country skis for our grandson free of charge. We can absolutely recommend the place if you love the peacefulness of the Finnish nature.
