Lots of walking on the doorstep, and the Parque Natural de Ponga is on the doorstep: a fabulous, relatively undiscovered area of gorges, forest and sharp mountain peaks, a good alternative to the neighbouring Picos de Europa. Communication with owners was excellent, and the house was equipped with all we could need (toilet paper, washing-up liquid, tea towels, towels, bedding etc). A long drive to any shops or bars so bring plenty of food and drink and have the perfect escape! Loved the free range eggs the owners left us too! Thank you for sharing this perfect place with us.

Id highly recommend staying here however I’d take a few things if you want to cook as there is know close supermarket otherwise you can use there restaurant

Excellent location easy it’s lit and safe walk into Llanes. The decor is super like a Swiss chalet. Susana has host was first class and supplied lots of information prior to our arrival. Close to the sea and the mountains.

The location is amazing and so peaceful. The place feels like a little family cabin in the woods and if you want to go to the centre of the city, its like 8min by car. Elena was most helpful and kind, always happy to help. She prepared breakfast every morning and gave us many tips on what to see and where to go. The room was spotless everyday and smelled nice. Quiet room and location. About a block from where the camino del norte trail passes over the Sella bridge. I used the correos luggage transfer service to/from accomodation and this went well. Accomodation had a small shared sitting room just outside bedrooms. Good wifi. Towels and shampoo/bodywash provided. Supermarket just around the corner. Room had solid wooden panel shutters so the room was nice and dark. Spare blanket provided in wardrobe.

All windows have shutters to reduce sunlight. 4. The apartment is quiet, located away from the road. 5. 2 separate bedrooms: 1 double beds and 2 single beds. The beds are comfortable 6. Fast Internet 7. Clean bed linen, plenty of towels. 8. 2 toilets, 2 showers 9. the parking area next to the apartments is free 10. The owner speaks English
Dinner is excellent!! Very good cook! Friendly and helpfull staff. Location: a good place to walk to Picu Uriellu. A shuttle bus leaves every hour to Poncebos (and back), from where you can walk the Ruta de Cares or go up to Bulness and take a walk to the Picu for example.
The property is set in a beautiful tranquil location but also close to the main A8 motorway to allow easy exploring of the Asturias region with its scenic mountains, fine sandy beaches, and interesting towns with numerous restaurants. The detached house offers privacy and is furnished/equipped to a comfortable modern standard. The bedrooms windows had wooden shutters providing total darkness for a good night’s sleep. The friendly property host made knowledgeable suggestions for local places to visit during our stay.
