Lots of walking on the doorstep, and the Parque Natural de Ponga is on the doorstep: a fabulous, relatively undiscovered area of gorges, forest and sharp mountain peaks, a good alternative to the neighbouring Picos de Europa. Communication with owners was excellent, and the house was equipped with all we could need (toilet paper, washing-up liquid, tea towels, towels, bedding etc). A long drive to any shops or bars so bring plenty of food and drink and have the perfect escape! Loved the free range eggs the owners left us too! Thank you for sharing this perfect place with us.

Excellent location easy it’s lit and safe walk into Llanes. The decor is super like a Swiss chalet. Susana has host was first class and supplied lots of information prior to our arrival. Close to the sea and the mountains.

The location is amazing and so peaceful. The place feels like a little family cabin in the woods and if you want to go to the centre of the city, its like 8min by car. Elena was most helpful and kind, always happy to help. She prepared breakfast every morning and gave us many tips on what to see and where to go. The room was spotless everyday and smelled nice. Spotless clean, loved the little balcony and doors with shutters, lovely parquet floor. Lovely view. Safe parking for my motorcycle at the back of the hotel.
Quiet room and location. About a block from where the camino del norte trail passes over the Sella bridge. I used the correos luggage transfer service to/from accomodation and this went well. Accomodation had a small shared sitting room just outside bedrooms. Good wifi. Towels and shampoo/bodywash provided. Supermarket just around the corner. Room had solid wooden panel shutters so the room was nice and dark. Spare blanket provided in wardrobe.

We're doing this review based on the price, not the number of stars. This is not a 4 star hotel, but is very good value for money. The Wifi was great, the breakfast was pretty good, the beds were very comfortable. The shower was good with good hot water. There was a desk to work at and storage for our stuff. We had an outside window, with a shutter, so the hotel was very quiet at night. The location, though not central, was pretty much 15-20 minute walk from almost anywhere in Oviedo.
A beautiful mountain chalet well looked after by very friendly staff. Our room located on the top floor was spotless. There is no air-conditioning but the shutter outside of the window can block out the heat if needed. The room cools down at night anyway so we didn't have problem sleeping. With my very limited Spanish vocabulary we managed to communicate with the helpful host and worked our sightseeing plan the next day. Breakfast was good too.
