The Marsa Shagra village is beautiful to walk around, the team were all so knowledgeable, helpful, professional and passionate about the ocean and Marine life. The house reef is stunning and we even had some close encounters with Dolphins in the mornings, there are so many options and dive sites available for both free divers as well as tank divers and the dive centre is one of the smoothest & professional operations I have ever experienced. The Chalet’s are super comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s so convenient having water stations around the whole site area so you can refill your bottles and save on wasting plastic. We will definitely be back!

The Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib is located directly on the marina of the Port Ghalib in Marsa Alam, overlooking the Red Sea. Abu Dabbab Lodge is located in Abu Dabbab area. This lodge is 30 km from Marsa Alam International Airport. The property offers an outdoor pool and a beach restaurant with a special menu. It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.
