The host is exceptional: great communication and also left us some lovely treats upon arrival :)

We've liked the fluent communication of the owner, that was always one step before we need the information. We were not in limbo, we've always known what will be happen. The chalet is exceptionel, 4 of us could enjoy our mixed business trip / holiday perfectly! We've used the jacuzzi and the grill, so relaxing rest & eating good food & enjoying fine wines are guaranteed! The kitchen is quite well equipped, you've everything for a good group of friends / family meal. You can fill the fridge @ Denner (in Chernex), or you can found a nice restaurant nearby up on the hill (https://restaurantlesfougeres.ch) if you prefer intimate forest surrounding. The chalet is wonderfully renovated: we've loved the harmonic collaboration of old style enterior and modern living (eg. everything is automated via IoT sensors and regulators). The panorama is wonderful! We could park free nearby the house and we've used a rented car to reach the location of Montreaux Jazz Fest every night (Pl. du Marché parking lot). Don't forget to visit the cog railway from Montreux (Railway Station - Av. des Alpes parking lot) to Rochers-de-Naye!

Aia ja järvevaatega Le petit chalet des Greys asub Meillerie's, 28 km kaugusel Montreux' raudteejaamast ja 12 km kaugusel Eviani raudteejaamast. This is a very nice and cozy mountain cottage. It is 5-10min by foot to the lake. The electric heating is really proper (nights were at 0 degrees), and there is another pellet heating that should make it real cozy during harsh winter. Washing machine worked. Kitchen had all essential utensils. There is a very nice terrace with wonderful view looking across the lake to Lousanne and parts of Montreux. There is a large garden around for children to play in.

The locations was superb and the amenities were first class. The host family are truly lovley people and were extremely helpful and welcoming which helped to make our stay very enjoyable. As we had our dogs with us the ten minute walk to the centre of Yvoire was a bonus as there are rolling hills and forest walks on the doorstep.
