The view particularly in the morning, was beautiful, especially it being Autumn. The staff were all very friendly, tonnes of knowledge and naturally hospitable. There’s a coffee machine, fully stocked industrial kitchen, a beautiful communal area and sit and overly very clean.

Located in Lakes Entrance in the Victoria region, Araluen Park Cottages provides accommodation with free private parking. This accommodation is exceptional and outstanding value for money. The property is well maintained, secluded and is very well equipped. Somehow the 50-70 year ago ambiance works - the house was only built about 10 - 15years' ago we understand. We met Peter the owner and had a most agreeable chat with him. We are on a 5 week road trip around Australia and this was the best accommodation we have found so far.

Emerald Creek Cottages offers a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 29 km of Packenham Train Station and 32 km of Dandenong Train Station. The accommodation has a hot tub and a spa bath. I really enjoyed my stay at Emerald Creek Cottages, tranquil, spacious and a nice breakfast (the cookies and the banana bread were delicious!!!)

Wonderful experience seeing kangaroos, cockatoos, cicadas and honey eaters in the backyard. Option to have a fire. Host provided detailed maps for hikes and local sightseeing. Biking and hiking trail outside. Adventure Cafe and Punjabi restaurant within walking distance. Great shops in town including fudge shop, travel information centre, grocery shop, ice cream shop and public swimming pool. Great place to explore The Grampions Mountains. The host, Tim is available next door and makes beautiful furniture, puzzles, and other wooden products. The bottle of wine was a nice surprise.

Featuring free WiFi and an on site restaurant, Frueauf Village is situated in Falls Creek, just a 7-minute walk from both Summit Chair and Gully Chair. The staff at Falls Creek are helpful, approachable and pleasant. Frueauf accommodation was fantastic. Heated bathroom with adjustable temperature. Lots of heater to keep us warm and cosy. Fully equipped kitchen (it’s the best!), washer and dryer, outdoor spa and awesome breakfast selection. We also managed to borrow tobaggans and xbox at the reception for free.

Set in Cabarita, Cabarita Lodge features accommodation with seating area. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Vicky was a wonderful host we loved our stay ! Our 2 cavaliers had fun with the lil 3 resident doggies - it just felt like catching up and staying with your friend Well done!!
