Located in Merriwa in the New South Wales region, Merriwa Golden Fleece Motor Inn & Lodge incorporating Merriwa Motor Inn & Motel provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Almost New rooms. Very clean and well set up. Plenty of parking right in the middle of town. Motel was fully booked and we got a larger disability access room which was the best set up I have seen. Close to the highway but got a very good nights sleep. The owner said that being new, the rooms were insulated to the current standard.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Everything we needed at a very reasonable cost. Definitely be returning.

It was a great experience staying here. Lots of space, very few cottages, and an amazing atmosphere. The hotel manager was nice and sweet. She left some cheese in the fridge, offered a bottle of rose, and made sure we had a ready to go fireplace with some extra wood to keep the cabin warm for 2 nights. We definitely have to come back!

Situated in Wallalong, the recently renovated Lilly Pilly Lodge features accommodation 47 km from Hunter Valley Gardens and 33 km from University of Newcastle. Very clean. Everything was there and one just need to relax. Kids love the pool and we loved the pool table and bbq. Beautiful backyard and quiet neighbourhood.

Communication with Sandra was easy. Games room was excellent and well stocked, a highlight of the accommodation and great fun for rainy days and whenever kids were needing something to do. House was very clean and excellent condition. Beds were very comfy. Beautiful views from all the windows out on the gumtrees. Lovely outdoor eating area on deck and grass area behind the house. Everything was thought of for a comfortable stay in a home way from home.

Our experience was delightful! The view is breathtaking! Animals are just gorgeous, the facilities (especially spa and animal feed) were fantastic and there was nothing not thought of! The attention to detail was above and beyond. We felt so very cared for during our stay. Highly recommend for anyone, whether travelling from afar or within an hour away like us! It was a dreamy weekend. We’ll be back!

What a beautiful property! My sisters-in-law and I had the most wonderful stay here. Everything was provided for a fantastic weekend away in the Hunter. There were even some lovely edible gifts left for us which was such a surprise. The beds were super-comfortable and the lodge was extremely roomy. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great about it , away from concrete nice and quiet , natural. Internet was slow this mentioned in other reviews but who cares that's the whole purpose of it .owners not only spent money on both properties they even decorated properties with love , while your stay you can feel and see the care all over property . for me complimentary fresh herbs were just cherry on cake .
