the breakfast was yummy!!! the place itself is breath taking. I loved the morning breeze and the nature surrounding the accommodation. The staff were lovely and willing to assist.
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
The restaurant area by the river was beautiful. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The linen and bath towels were pristine and fresh. The bathrooms spacious and very comfortable.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet.
The view was great. The chalet was nice and clean with good quality begging.
Our chalet however did not have all the cutlery and crockery you would expect for the amount of people we booked for.
It might just be me but I expected like a coffee/tea bag just as you get at usual overnight places but nothing so that was a bit of a let down.
Everything about the cabin was as it was shown on the pictures. We loved the coziness, seclusion and atmosphere. If you love rain forest adventure and seclusion this is for you. There is no tv so this gives you resting and bonding time.
Very friendly owners that have gone out of their way to make our stay great. Loved the ice maker at the guest rooms and the cleanest swimming pool I have seen in a long time. The specia built inl braai at the chalet works like a dream and everything was clean. The garden is magic and all the buck moving between the chalets gave it a bush feel. Absolutely loved it!
Everything about Forest View Cabins is breathtaking and all is properly in order. From communication to the actual stay, the courtesy of being checked on if I'm okay or slept well after my first night and if I need anything, what a remarkable hosting. I'm definitely returning soon. ☺️ The cabins are literally home, the view is priceless.
The scenery and cabins are cozy and ideal for a retreat. The fireplace was so useful to keep the place warm. Initially I was a bit disappointed as there was no electric blanket but it was not needed.
Everything! Beautiful setting with a spectacular view. Very clean, cosy cabin with attention to detail. Each chalet has a private braai area, with parking close by. The staff are all very friendly and ensure that all needs are met. All access and entry codes were sent to us prior to arrival, and details were very specific. An amazing weekend at a wonderful venue.
