All cabins in Stormsrivier
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Wooden chalet rooms with lovely views. We were in the honeymoon suite which we highly recommend- set on stilts it was a tree house beautiful and thoughtfully set up with balcony under a tree with views across the countryside. Huge bath and fire place in a lovely big room. Breakfast and the buffet supper on Friday were awesome, lovely fire in the dining room.

The wooden features and the bathroom! PS: The wood does NOT smell at all as some reviews claim - it's much less potent than at ski chalets in the mountains in e.g. Switzerland, Austria or France.

The chalet was very well maintained and super clean with stunning views. Was so fabulous to be so embedded in nature and to hear the sounds of the waterfall. Lots of food to light the fire which kept the cabin super cosy. We used the Kolkol which was one of our most magical experiences as a family. Dinner was also super tasty and restaurant staff very friendly.

Thank you to the staff for the warm welcome, excellent service and for making our stay memorable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Beautiful chalet with stunning scenery of the sea, cliffs and forest. The bed was very comfortable, room and bathroom are huge with cozy fireplace and bonus heated towel rail in the bathroom. I would highly recommend this lodge, it has everything one could possibly want. Thank you once again for such an amazing stay!

The chalets are beautiful and spacious. The fireplace and wood supplied is wonderful in cold weather. The private pool is great, would have been even better if it was warm. The gowns were soft and fluffy. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The facilities were clean and accessible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hiking trails were well marked. Wonderful place, worth the money spent.

My favourite place of my last trip. With forest and ocean views. Stayed in a wooden cabin facing the ocean. It felt so cosy and peaceful. The kitchen was well equiped. There was also a braai and kaggel. Saw peacocks and monkeys on the property. Fell in love with the owner's dogs. Most beautiful sunset. Friendly helpful staff! Nice cocktails!. Nice restaurant. Planning to go back asap.

We had a beautiful wooden chalet in the forest with a huge comfy bed and an amazing bathroom. The best part was having dinner outside at the restaurant which offered a breathtaking view over the cliffs upto the ocean!
