For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
The location is peaceful and quiet, the chalet is perfectly fitted for a couple and had all the amenities needed. The hotel breakfast was included which was a treat ! The bed very comfy, nice braai area and serviced/ cleaned daily. A very comfortable stay. The Lagoon Spa was luxurious !
The unit was in a lovely location, close to the superette, library and the hotel. It had a lovely wooden deck to enjoy the peace and quiet on. The showers were large which was awesome. Access to free wifi and DSTV.
Our host were delightful and made our stay extra special. We loved the sound of the birds chirping in the evening and the view was beautiful over looking the river.
