Loved the personal touch provided by Judith, which included thoughtful extras in the chalet. One could quite easily sit on the terrace and not move a muscle - quiet, great views, amenities at your fingertips. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Wildlife is abundant and easy to reach on the farm roads. They even provided a rescue service when we were stuck in soft sand (our fault)!
A 9-km boat ride along the Kariega River provides the only access to malaria-free Sibuya Game Reserve, set in the forest. It offers Big Five game drives, river cruises and tented accommodation.

Sibuya is a very special place on earth!!
Even the journey by boat is an experience. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the whole team, who are incredibly great. Julie is incredibly lovely and humorous. We were spoiled the whole day, we laughed and sang a lot. The food is delicious and even a bed bottle is provided for the night.
The tents are great and a special experience, the beds are super comfortable.
We couldn't have imagined a better game driver for the safari than CJ. She is such a lovely person and her love for nature and the animals is palpable - she loves her work! she was able to show us and teach us a lot, has patience and a great sense of humor. It was not easy for us to say goodbye. We had a great time at Sibuya Game Reserve and can recommend it 1000% and would book there again!

Staff friendly and attentive, Melissa who was our ranger/guide was superb!!
I could say a lot more superlatives, but the guests comments in the 2 photos attached from just this one week say it much more than I can
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The wooden chalet was close to the beach, where there was a lovely restaurant. The chalet was clean, and clean bath towels were provided. The night watchman came to introduce himself, and the place is alarmed. We accidently pressed the panic button on the remote, and the security company phoned promptly to respond. Robyn made a special concession to the 'no pets' rule and allowed my little dog to stay. Thank you.
The lady Pumla , helped me very kindly and was exceptional at briefing us on the area and the Chalets.
The view from our balcony was beautiful
The facilities were clean and well maintained.
Our chalet was spotless and everything is provided , including house help
A wonderful welcome by Nicola and the amazing view over the Cowie River valley and the rustic log cabin and super large verandah overlooking the evergreen forests. A bonus was the animals in the nature reserve.
We had a lovely stay. Enjoyed the sparkling clean pool. Our chalet was nice. Having a Porter for our luggage was a nice touch. Also appreciated the security guard patrolling.
Having this be my very 1st time in Port Alfred, i could not have asked for better accomadation than the Beach Cabin In Port Alfred Sands. To me this was a home away from home with my familuy. Best part of it all was the view of the ocean from our rooms, spacious deck (great for breakfast in the morning) as well as the braai area back of the cabin. If you looking for a place to stay away from the city life, some place quite and peaceful but also very entertaining, this beach cabin is it. It's a must. Highly recommend.
