Wow! I can’t say enough about the lodge, staff and facilities. The room “tent”, was well thought out, immaculate and the best possible. The tent was right out of a movie for an African safari. The food was amazing. The activities were awesome. We feed elephants and went on safari.

This was by far one of the most well kept century old gust house i’ve ever stayed in. It is also very well located walking distance to restaurants, extremely clean and excellent value for money. They even wash your car before you leave. Although you are situated down town, you don’t feel you are in the city when siting on the patio overlooking the back yard. Their attention to details is remarkable.

The best thing about the property is the hostess Elna. She and her husband run the place with a lot of love for hospitality. This is typically why we prefer a bed & breakfast/lodge type of place over a hotel.
Apart from the warm welcome, Elna gave us some amazing information on the area and some sightseeing we could do. This made all the difference for our stay.

A beautiful spot overlooking the mountains. Wonderful staff, delicious food. We picked the accommodation as we are parkrun fanatics and it didn't disappoint. A memorable and happy experience.
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

The location was serene. Far enough to experience peace and nature of Klein Karoo. We enjoyed watching animals on the farm. It was close enough to the nearest town if shopping was needed. We enjoyed the space of the farm and cycled around a lot. The Chalet 1 was perfect for family of 5. Spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that was needed for self catering... well except of a big enough frying pan and pot.
There is no WiFi and it was actually to our advantage and helped to soak in nature, reading and playing games.
The location is breathtaking! The farm is set in a verdant valley with sheep and lambs grazing peacefully under the Swartberg Mountain. The lodge high on a hill overlooking the valley. The timber cabins are simply but well furnished with a very comfortable bed and crisp fresh linen. I loved the bath in the bedroom.
Zwartberg Mountain view is an amazing place! Wonderful owners; very friendly and gave us very useful tips. The terrace is absolutely astonishing. Having a drink by the fireplace overlooking the animals and of course, Melvin. My children adored the place! Very clean and spacious lodge (we stayed in the Kudu Chalet). Would recommend!
We stayed in one of the beautiful cabins, with a view of the river. The cabin was very big and comfortable, with a nice fireplace, veranda comfortable beds and bathroom . It was self contained with good facilities, but we did make use of the breakfast (for a very reasonable fee), which was fantastic! The hosts and staff were delightful.
Had a great stay in the family cabin. Albert and Elza are wonderful hosts. They have thought of everything. It was an absolute treat staying here. Location is fantastic, with gorgeous views. The cabin was beautifully decorated, beds were warm and comfy. Huge fireplace with plenty of firewood provided. So much to see in the local area, Albert gave us great recommendations. Will definitely be back.
We really loved the wood cabin. Heated beds for the cold nights was awesome. The private deck with garden view and indoor fireplace was a real great feature. Relaxing on the pool deck area to enjoy a braai with an amazing sunset is a must and wait for the night to do some star gazing.
Our hosts were warm, friendly and attended to our every need.
