The staff were excellent on everything. Special mention to Frans, who attended to all our needs with a smile. A very nice and excellent customer specialist. The food was delicious, save for the one salty venison dinner. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast.

Coming from 3 weeks camping in the bush in Botswana , this accommodation felt like heaven . The Sondela reserve has all amenities one can wish on site and the house is just amazing, extremely large and confortable (much better than on the pictures ) . It was the perfect stop on our last day of holidays before heading back to Joburg’s airport.

Clean and comfortable rooms, some rooms only have showers, so if you prefer a bath you'll have to specify on your booking.
Breakfast was lekker, and the area is well set up.
Luxurious restaurant and bar, pricing at the restaurant stings a bit but the bar is affordable.
Enjoyed the fireplace, it's big.. There's room for everyone. But the cushions are wearing out. Some fresh one would be great.
There's back up in case of load shedding.
No running out of water, like in some hotels.
The place is located in a beautiful golf estate... Really a go to spot for a quiet relaxing weekend... It is also centrally located to a vast number of exercusions, thus making it ideal for a stay over during an activity filled weekend... The hosts are super lovely as well... The place exceeded my expectations... Oh how can I forget that the hosts upgraded my room to a secluded Chalet... Definitely a cherry on top... 👌🏾
The place is situated in a lovely farm with a vast landscape. The view from one of the chalets is lovely. It had a generator for load-shedding. The two-bedroom chalet decor is lovely and has a great balcony with an infinity pool.

The manager and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The chalet, cooking area, TV lounge, indoor bar, the swimming pool, well planned and equipped braai area and the bar. Everything is just awesome. The game drive was also excellent. We will definitely be back.
