After an extensive search for a peaceful "bush" getaway near Jeffreys Bay, I was lucky enough to discover this charming little cabin—and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be!
The online photos simply don’t capture the true beauty of this place. Every inch of the cabin has been thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail in every corner.
Our stay was filled with fun and relaxation. We played board games on the deck while listening to the rain, unwinding in the hot tub, and waking up to the soothing sound of birdsong in the morning.
One of the highlights of the experience, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond, something you don’t always find at the more "luxury" lodges in the area.
Instead of taking the 250 km drive from PE to Plettenberg Bay, we’ll now be staying closer to home, supporting local, and enjoying this tranquil haven that offers both luxury and serenity right at our doorstep.
This hidden gem is highly recommended for anyone looking to escape into nature without sacrificing comfort.

AMAZING, our host Chris went above and beyond, he had wood ready for us upon arrival, showed us all the inns-and-outs of the property. Assisted with a power point to charge the vehicle dual battery system and proper Wi-Fi in a zero-mobile reception area! Stunning wildlife and amazing views. Huge rainfall shower with towels etc.

Breakfast was nice, we were always looking forward to it. The beach view from our suite was beautiful , also the room is now renovated you will notice the bath tub is no longer next to the bed which was a good surprise. We checked in so late , Daniel welcomed us so well with a smile and we loved how he communicated everything we might like upfront for us to decide. There’s also a little information desk with all the nearby restaurant and some activities this was helpful. We honestly felt at home with everyone around. I can’t emphasize enough How nice Daniel was, we even felt sad when checking out.

The rustic beach decor created a good atmosphere. The accommodation is close to eating and shopping establishments.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Avan is an excellent host, and has really put serious thought into every detail. Beds and linen are very comfortable, and great quality towels, Nespresso coffee machine, with complimentary pods, rusks, milk etc. the hot tub works beautifully and the fire pit is a treat. The location surrounded by bush is peaceful and private, as well as secure. Every part of the cabin and outside area has been thoughtfully created to be comfortable, practical and aesthetically pleasing.
We will definitely be back and recommend to friends as well!
The cabin was in reality just as it is portrayed in the pictures - absolutely beautiful! The layout is so well thought out and provides absolutely everything you need for a very comfortable stay! We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay!
Well located and nicely appointed. Wanted for very little. Plenty of pots/pans/crockery/cutlery/glasses and a dishwasher and washing machine. Nice privacy. Beaches and a wooden walk wat a stone's throw away, and SPAR/Clicks very close by.
Amazing view of the beach from our comfortable little cabin with clean bed linen. Few short steps to the beach. Safe parking inside with security guard on duty through the night. Excellent value for money.
The cabin was absolutely stunning , spacious and comfortable. I loved the location it’s very central surrounded by Seaview. Also very safe for my car as well. The entire establishment is absolutely stunning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s also located at a very central point. This is a very great value for money. As a solo traveller I also love the energy that was around from the staff to all the other visitors. I really really enjoyed myself I don’t want to lie.
