Really an exceptional stay. From the time we arrived until the time we checked out everything was great. Very comfortable stay. Our host was exceptional, and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to enjoy our stay. Everything one needs is provided. I will definitely recommend this property if you plan to visit and explore the area.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Perfect self-catering in Magoebaskloof, you only need to drive about 2km off R71 on a gravel road. The host prepared baked bread to welcome me to their property and the room has a full kitchen with eggs/ milk/ butter to prepare own breakfast. The chalet is very big with a fireplace/ wall heater/ electric blanket; it is serviced daily, and they even prepare the wood for the fireplace, you just need to light the fire and the room warms up very quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
Viewpoint Cabins are beautiful wood cabins, well equipped and beautifully styled. The bed is comfortable and large. The water had good pressure and was very warm. The fireplace is a must with a glass of wine and to get the cabin warm. They also left two warm water bottles which came in very handy and was a lovely touch. Viewpoint cabins was a great base for travelling around the area.
The view was the best, the horses were nice to see too. The chalet was nice and clean and the fireplace was amazing and kept us warm during cold nights.
The bed was great, loved the fireplace and the bath tub was fantastic. The cabin was very secluded and it is very quiet so we didn't have any disturbances
I am just in love with the design of these cabins. There's something about them that says relax. It was a little chilli, we had an opportunity to use the fireplace this time around, beautiful 😍
The cabin is well appointed with beautiful views, what you will find inside will pleasantly surprise you- it’s so tastefully furnished and it shows that the owner has considered every little detail. it’s also incredibly clean. We enjoyed our winter nights by the wood fireplace and will definitely be back soon.
The cabins are beautifully decorated and fitted out with all the comforts including warm blankets, wood fireplace and hot water bottles. The kitchen is very well equipped with good quality kitchenware and has everything one needs for a short stay. The gardens are exceptionally beautiful.
Communication via whatsapp regarding booking in etc was amazing. Immediatly felt that the staff and owner respect one's privacy. It is a little gem in the mountain. Clean and cosy. Save parking write next to the cabin. Loved the fireplace and being spoiled with a huge bag of firewood. Fully equiped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Having had free wifi is definately a dubble plus point...thank you for that.
