Beautiful game reserve about 1 hour from Graaff-Reinet. Amazing staff! Our game ranger, Rudolph, was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Big thank you to the manager, fabulous kitchen staff and waitress. The food was amazing - lovely lunch on arrival, dinner was outstanding and great breakfast. We visited in winter - the rooms were warm with electric blankets. Lovely fireplaces in the lounge and dining room. Fabulous property.

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Great setting in the most beautiful valley with lots of wildlife.Had a stunning dinner of Impala fillet prepared by the chef.
Great accommodation at The Willows chalet with all the necessary amenities
Spacious with 4 separate singles in 2 bedrooms. Separate lounge and dining area with table to eat as a family. 2 separate en suite bathrooms. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Missing a stove in the unit BUT staff were so kind to assist with making my eggs for breakfast for my family then used my chalet for my toast and coffee and enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a view of the mountains near the pools.
Short distance off the highway with safe parking inside the premises next to the chalets.
The decor and the antique furniture were so natural and tasteful and blended in with, as well as enhanced, the historical feel of the town. I fell in love with the doors and window shutters as well. The house is also comfortably ensconced by greenery. Very pretty! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough for our needs. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was amazing.
We were pleasantly surprised to find such a spacious, lovely chalet in such a big area almost in the centre of town. The secure parking was also a big plus. We were impressed with the value for money and will definitely stay there again, hopefully for longer next time.
The hospitality was exceptional. One of our dogs went missing and the staff were very, very helpful to assist us. The chalet was faultless and very clean. Thank you!
Scotches stretch is a beautiful avenue with the coloured shutters and doors. Really enjoyed our stay. Had a lovely breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Next time ill also make a trip to the spa
we travelled with our 3 year old grandson, he enjoyed every little bit of it, and all safe for him to run from chalet to playground thanks for keeping it safe!
This was home away from home, it really was! Arriving at the venue, the outside does no justice to what lies behind the front door. This quaint little house, with its crisp white paint, wooden shutters and huge green door. This door opens up to a hidden gem, high ceilings, yellow wood floors and the most amazing living area, huge bedrooms and the most amazing garden. This is a jewel in the Karoo and one of the oldest towns in SA. I will be back
Everything was perfect ,location ….facilities, chalet layout .It felt like we are spending the wkend away in our own home.Staff being friendly and always willing to help .
