Due to repair work at the Lodge, we ended up staying at La Cle Villa. If you are looking for an intimate holiday with personal services, this is a great choice. The room we stayed in was nice, but we have access to the super spacious living and dinning room (only 3 rooms). Two lovely staff members would prepare a lovely breakfast spread for us. We also have daily hot snacks in the afternoon. There was also warm flames in the fireplace. The location was great, an easy 5 minutes walk to Franschhoek main street.

The location was excellent, close to town but still quiet and picturesque. The paddocks with the horses nearby the cottages were a treat to look at. I loved how quaint the cottage was and the eclectic decor. Everything was clean and the cottage was well stocked with amenities.

Size was big enough for the 2 of us! I enjoyed the look and feel of the cabin and outside with the braai and vineyard. The gas heater was a nice touch and kept us warm during the rain. Towels were included, hangers were included. Hair dryer was included.
Very friendly and warm welcoming staff! Stanley was so helpful to us- he guided us on our dining options where he arranged a shuttle service from our dinner reservation, and he also gave us ideas on what to do on Saturday- we did both of his recommendations (wineries).
From the kitchen staff- they served us really delicious and delicious breakfast with very hot coffee (which was a must given the weather!), so we really enjoyed our stay at Fleur du Soleil!!!
Beautiful chalet, everything we needed was there and the hostess was very friendly. Stunning view on the vineyard and the mountains behind it. This was definitely the most beautiful location during our 3 month trip
Great views and comfortable accommodation. We booked 2 chalets, one was modern and the other was old styled cottage. Both were wonderful and restful with nice fire place. Great for self-catering and a braai.
Room is incredible, with a large TV, your own fireplace and a bath.
Very good location, right next to the franschhoek wine tram ticket office and shuttle pick up.
