For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
It is very close to the airport and the shuttle bus service is also very easy to use.
There are some shops and restaurants near by and the free happy hour was something great for us.
The room was very big and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Staff were efficient and friendly. The airport shuttle was welcome although a bit hit and miss from airport to hotel. The evening "kick back" with three free dinks and an adequate supper was very welcome.
A tip for travellers without car - the public service bus to downtown San Antonio stops right outside the hotel.
The hotel was a very convenient place to stay on the night before our flight out of SAT -- close to the airport with on-demand free shuttle service.
The small enclosed patios provided a perfect space to meet up with our other friends staying at the hotel. To our surprise, there was a free happy hour and buffet too!
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Location and price. Although as we didn't have a car so had to walk to nearby restaurants and we discovered other hotels were closer but also more expensive. The breakfast starts early which is good.staff were good and the free shuttle to the airport is good.
The breakfast buffet is excellent. The free shuttle service is excellent. Staff friendly. The manager was actually helping out during breakfast and spent time chatting with guests at most tables. Impressive and unexpected.
