For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
LOCATION IS GREAT!!! The view is gorgeous!!! It’s very quiet, cabin was fully stocked… check in was very simple… Chuck & Stewart are the sweetest & make you feel comfortable!!
It was exactly what we needed to spend a couple of relaxing days by the lake.
We had a firepit lit both nights outside and lit the fire in the cabin also.
Its so serene with the wildlife and being able to just relax on the pier if you want. We also spent so much time playing horseshoe throwing!
The cabin is cosy, especially during winter, it would be nice to have the fire going. When we did finally manage to check in the staff were friendly and helpful. Not too far from restaurants, stores etc
The attention to detail and exquisitely stylish yet comfortable and homely decor made us feel right at home … the perfect escape and a real gem. Cannot recommend this unique little cabin enough.
