We were blown away with our stay. It was beautiful inside and out, with modern rustic decor, it felt like we had stepped into a magazine. Every drawer and door was labeled. It took minutes to feel like we were at home. Surprises included s'more station, snacks, family games, and the occasional visit from deer. The windows allowed for a beautiful view, and when you wanted privacy, the blinds rolled down in seconds. The AC had no problem keeping you cool. The instant hot water heater made sure showers were always hot. My kids would not stop thanking me for booking the Chalet.

This destination is more for couples than it is for children. I had reservations, it took me over an hour to find it due to the fact that it was dark out. There were no signs or lights to guide you there. I finally called the owner, Roman & he guided me in. He is currently undergoing renovations.
I had my 9 year old Granddaughter with me.
Roman was a very nice nice man. I have to say none of this review has nothing to do with him personally. But, I had no idea that we would be staying in his home, upstairs. I thought they were small cabins. Once he went down stairs my Granddaughter got upset, she was scared to stay in someone's home. We left and got a room elsewhere. But, like I said, it's not his fault that my Granddaughter was scared, he was very kind.
We couldn't see the entire property because it was so dark out.
I'm sure this place would've worked out wonderfully if it was my husband and I going.
I think he needs to have lightning at his entrance and a sign & I also think he needs more lightning outdoors. I didn't get a full refund, but I am still waiting for my 50% refund.
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
We loved everything about our stay. The cabin was super clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and there was so much for the kids to do.
Great place. Would choose again next time. A good choise for a visit Austin, San Antonio and the Hill Country. Wish we had booked more nights for our stay in the area. Nice to have wooden floor, instead of the usual carpet.
