The Snow Owl Cabin, hotel in Maggie Valley

The Snow Owl Cabin offers accommodations in Maggie Valley, 18 miles from Museum of the Cherokee Indian.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Snow Owl Cabin. It was even better than we expected. The cabin was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean! The rooms were spacious ,comfortable, and included a very well furnished kitchen. Our favorite experience was seeing an elk when we arrived; he laid down to rest in a neighbor’s yard for the afternoon.

*NEW* Cozy Creekside Cabin, hotel in Maggie Valley

A recently renovated vacation home in Waynesville, *NEW* Cozy Creekside Cabin offers outdoor fireplace, private parking, and sports facilities.

We were in love immediately pulling up to this wonderful cabin. The little creek has such a soothing sound. It was definitely a relaxing serene experience. The cabin is beautifully decorated, and has all the necessities and some more! The bed was very comfortable. Our son loved the kids room complete with a full sized bunk bed, foosball table, and games. Unfortunately he wouldn’t sleep in there alone. Lol. We enjoyed the view of the mountain while sitting on the front porch swing. The location is great and close to so many beautiful sights. We did contact the host on our second day and received a prompt response. We would definitely love to stay at this cabin again in the future! It was worth the price by far!

The place was clean, stocked with cooking utensils/cookware, and was in a good location. Checking in/out process was easy. Property had a creek which you could hear outside from the Cabin, although it was a trickle, it was nice to hear early in the the morning while enjoying coffee outside the deck.

Climbing Bear Creekside Cabin, hotel in Maggie Valley

We love the location by the creek, so calm and peaceful. The fire pit is great for making s’mores! The cabin itself is exemplary! So many amenities that many cabins don’t include…and so neat and clean! Far enough from town to enjoy the beauty and quiet; yet close enough to places we wanted to go! We love it there!

Looking for a cabin?
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

    - Moderately quaint motel with ski chalet-like entrance lobby including small library (mediocre dated and religious books) - includes on site restaurant/bar. - Bar has a trivia competition capably run - wood flooring in room - gas fireplace with extremely short duration timer - small river behind motel past utility areas

Cute little cabin. Comfy bed! Clean with everything we needed. Full size fridge is always nice. We had some issues with hot water, but they accommodated the issue perfectly.

Quiet & quaint cabin. Was very close to restaurants and shops but still felt secluded due to the beautiful lush foliage and trees. The babbling creek just off the porch was relaxing to listen to. Bob, the owner/host made us feel welcome. Will stay there again.
