For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
My family and I loved the entrance, I liked the lounge area with the fireplace. Was very welcoming. My girls loved the plants they felt like it was an adventure!!! My wife enjoyed the way everything was well presented when we arrived.
The room was great. It could have been more explicit that it contained two full beds. Otherwise the staff was nice and accommodations perfect for us. I liked that the family room was basically a cabin off to the side, felt more private than a normal hotel.
The cabin is nice and in a very green area of the camping, the camping is located close to the entrance of the Garden of the Gods NP but faraway from Colorado springs downtown. There is a swimming pool close to the cabin area and a nice restroom with big showers.
We chose the Radisson because we had an early flight next morning. The free shuttle service was excellent, and Josh, our driver, was very helpful. The 24 hour tea/coffee service available in the dining area helped us get on our way in the morning!
Fantastic location for the Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks. My husband and I enjoyed chatting to the staff and other guests during happy hour to get some local tips, and we loved the fact the chalets were dog-friendly too. Yes, the buildings are old but the accommodation is well-equipped and comfortable - and although the air-con units are undeniably loud, as a few other people have mentioned, we found it quite soothing as it had a white noise effect!
The personel was very kind! The room was sapcious, well equiped, clean, comfy beds. It was more than what I had in mind. Large fridge, cabinets with evrything you needed, two burner stove, dish washer machine, microwave, spacious bathroom, coffee maker, toaster. I mean, it really had everything you needed.
Staff of the hotel was very kind. Bed very comfortable, room well equipped with necessary products. The facility in general looks nice and neat. Positive aspect was shuttle to the airport.
