The room was very uniquely decorated and clean. The toilet plays music. The host was incredibly nice and didn't bother us ever. Clean towels whenever you leave the used ones outside the room. The host even offered to drive us to our station after our stay so that we didn't have to walk with our luggage.

It’s a beautiful Japanese home with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. It was a comfortable stay for 6 people and was close to the bus stations, a convenience store and a grocery. It would be even better if there were basic condiments (salt, pepper, sugar and tea) & if they had hand towels in the bathrooms. The owners were very responsive and accommodating.

I loved how everything was super clean and the house was super cozy. There were heat pumps in both bedrooms so it was very comfortable at night.
Also, the proximity to Toji Temple as a nice surprise.

The Celestine Gion has is a gem, it has calming atmosphere, lovely, spacious rooms and luxurious public bath. The amenities were the beat we had experienced in Japan so far, make sure to try the night gowns. A family of four we had 2 neighbouring rooms and it worked great. The location is a little off the beaten path, however the neighbourhood is old, authentic, close to some of the shrines. The hotel provides a shuttle to / from Kyoto station.
Clean and comfortable. Complete kitchenware to cook for a simple meal. There are washing machine so you don’t need to bring extra clothes, save your luggage space. Less than 5 minutes walking distance to Kiyomizu-Gojo train station. 10 to 15 minutes walk to Sannenzaka. We can even walk to Kawaramachi area which takes less thn 20 minutes. Fresco Ohashi supermarket open 24 hours is only 700meters away. I will definitely come back here.
Reception/check in counter easy to find. They provide 1 way shuttle to the apartment.
From the moment we walked through the door it felt great. The staff were friendly and informative. The rooms were clean. There were free shuttle buses available to take us to a couple of tourist sites. You could use a washing machine and dryer as well as have a free cup of tea downstairs. It was a 2 minute walk to the subway with easy connections everywhere.
The room was comfortable with a choice of 2 restaurants for breakfast, including one on the 14th floor, that turns slowly.
Having a shuttle bus between the hotel and train station was a great bonus.
The hotel is quite good service. The location is quite convenient. I like the room very much. It was very, clean, and filled up with small complimentary toiletary kits. The buffet breakfast is quite healthy and delicious. The best service of the hotel for us was having the regular shuttle bus service from the hotel from/to the main train station.

Very clean and modern, and very spacious for Japan. Central check in was nice and quick and free shuttle bus to the Hotel was a very welcome bonus. Microwave in the room, nicely equipped kitchenette. Really good toilet/bidet! Location was insanely good, just a few minutes walk from bus, metro and Gion district and generally just a really pretty location.
This hotel was clean and comfortable and very close to Kyoto Station, 1-2 mins walk. We had an internal room with no window, but it had lovely Japanese shutters. The room was a good size. There's a big temple (the largest wooden temple in Japan) only 5 mins walk from the hotel.
