For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Cute little apartments with all the things one would need for a comfortable stay. Self check in is great. It is about 30 minutes walk to Ragusa Ibla but in the evening there is a free shuttle bus back to the upper part of the city.
Very comfortable in a central position near the old town.
Both Alessia and Frank were incredibly helpful (the video tour she provided and tips were much appreciated eg the local restaurant and free shuttle bus) and very welcoming
Huge room traditionally decorated with period furniture has a a very good modern shower room. Huge terrace but this has very little shade so would be uncomfortable in hot weather. There are steps down a a shady courtyard however. On the main street though this part of Ebla which are a little noisy in the late evening but quietens down around 10pm. Our room was at the back of the building so we were not disturbed much. Good variety of restaurants locally no to far from the cathedral square. Free shuttle from train station stops near by.
Great eco-friendly place. It is composed of cabins and it has a very nice yard and swimming pool and parking space. The cabins have kitchenettes which is very helpful.
We loved the authentic feel of being in a traditional building with shutters and balconies in a little street close to Corso Italia. It soon became clear how close we were to the historical sights. Concetta, our hostess was lovely and gave lots of good advice and fascinating information. The breakfast at her own house very nearby was delicious. She made omelette and scrambled eggs for us but there were many other tasty local treats to try such as cheeses, baking, and fruit.
The entire apartment is very spacious, well equipped. And it has a great view in the balconies.
The host and her daughter don't speak English so well, but we managed well and they are nice, helpful and warm people.
In addition, the city of Ragusa has such a great service for tourist. - there are free shuttle buses running at Train station every hour. So we took the bus to come to Ibla and vice versa. - it was a valuable information from the host too! and also Tourist Information in Ibla gave us useful information very kindly.
The location is excellent to reach both Ragusa centre and Ragusa Ibla, with the facility of a shuttle bus. Parking was of no problem. The host, Luca, was very friendly and hospitable and made sure that everything was OK. The place is exquisitely designed and well kept, with all necessary amenities.
