Property was so cosy, well decorated and looked after. Clearly a lot of care goes into the lodge. The bed was so comfortable, shower was great, the lodge had all facilities you could ask for. The hosts were incredibly friendly and quick at replying, even went out of their way to decorate for my boyfriend’s birthday with banners and balloons. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We were thrilled with the lodge.

The cabin was really nice. Open space kitchen with living room, one of the bedrooms was a en-suite. It was clean and beds were really comfortable. Location was good aswell as we were able to go and visit so many places just 5 minutes away from the cabin. The cabin has everything you need in the kitchen, it just feels like a home!

A new member of staff was lovely and accommodating, made us feel very welcome. She even helped us bring all our luggage up for the cabin as we were walkers, very nice touch. I like how many accomplishments there were.

The location of the cabin was excellent with the deck area catching the sun all afternoon and into the evening. The decor of the cabin was lovely and the facilities on the site including the lake area was great.
Lovely, spacious cabin with everything we needed for our weekend break. Sitting out on the deck in the morning and evening was a great treat. A great location in between Ambleside and Windermere. The holiday park itself was great, the cabin is located close to the restaurant, pool and park which was perfect when you have little ones. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.
Troutbeck is a fabulous private owned cabin on Windermere. It is clean, tidy, and well looked after in a fabulous setting.
The resort is great and caters for all, and I would say it is fantastic value for money.
The rooms were quirky, clean and different to anywhere I've stayed before!
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great.
We were lucky enough to stay in 2 rooms, one being the Summit - incredibly beautiful bedroom, and a separate lounge area ..then Shute, which had a beautiful four poster bed and amazing decor, and we had breakfast delivered to the room which was a lovely surprise!!
We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, thank you for making our stay so special.
