The shower was amazing! Loved that,
We got there at very short notice so the lodge was cold, however within 10 minutes of us arriving a lovely chap appeared
and put the heating on, from there on in it was very comfortable

The pod had everything we needed and was in a perfect location - private, scenic and by the river. Great support from the hosts. The hot tub was a massive bonus and all set up ready to use.

Awesome views, which you could say is the luxury part of the title
The lodge it's self is outdated, very cold, and its drive is up a steep hill, which could be very difficult for some drivers.
Once the heating was sorted and turning on all the switches for all different things to work, hot water shower plug-in radiators, etc.. it was OK. I'm not saying I would stay there again, but I was expecting a lot more considering the title 🤔
It was ideal for what I needed it for whilst working in Tywyn 8/10
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The chalet is very nicely finished and very comfortable with a sea view which we had not expected so a lovely surprise.
Only a 2 minutes walk to the beach which was lovely.
There are excellent walks all around the area which are very scenic and extremely enjoyable and ideal with a dog.
Overall, superb accommodation in a great area.
The location was ideal for exploring or working in the local area. The chalet park itself is very nice and quiet and a great place to relax if you are on holiday. There are shops and pubs nearby and the chalet had a small, well equipt kitchen. The shower was lovely.
The bathroom had black moulds, and the bedrooms had a strong smell of damp. most our clothes were still smelling of damp we got home. The kitchen cabinet was dirty.
We couldn't have a good sleep due to the smell of damp and mattress not being comfortable. We left the chalet 2 days earlier to stay in a nearby hotel.
Location was excellent. We booked as had family staying at a nearby campsite. Hosts were very receptive to communication. Cabin was very well stocked with anything we could need. Rain and wind was extremely heavy on our first night yet we didn't hear it.
The chalet reminded me of my childhood holidays but with a modern twist! It was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Our dogs loved being so near to the beach. Walking distance to the train station allowed us to visit several other seaside towns and to access the coastal
path.
Beautifully decorated chalet, very comfortable and in perfect location to beach and town. We returned for the second year and have already booked for next year.
