Staff couldn't do enough if we needed anything, pod was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. We had to change our parking space due to my wife struggling to walk small distances, it was very much appreciated, nothing was a bother.
We have booked again for Easter.

Nice and quiet location. It would have been great to see the stars if it a clear sky. Loved having the cards and board games, and the lighting was great. Really clean, and the shower was great.

Everything we could possibly need for a holiday was in the Lodge, down to the tiniest detail. Comfy bed and beautiful quality clean bedding. Ample storage for food etc in the family sized fridge/freezer. We stayed 5 days and it felt like home from home. Short stroll to the on-site pub, which was very convenient too. Needed to contact the owner about a small television problem and it was sorted literally within hours. Exceptionally helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and large -liked the sun room and bathrooms in particular.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Everything was lovely and really enjoyed the room and the hotel, loved the layout of the building, the decor, the breakfast was good, the fireplace was cosy :)
Beautiful little cottage fully equipped kitchen and beautifully decorated throughout. Only nibble front room was a bit cold and drafty due to fireplace not sealed properly apart from that loved it
The hut was of a very high standard. The hits are well equipped, beds are comfy and you have a lot of privacy. Bikes can be stored in a designated space if you are cycling. For lovers of wood burners there is a wood burner in the hut. Settle centre is close by.

Friendly and Very Helpful Host
Perfect couples retreat for a relaxing break.
We loved it 😍 (Despite the shocking weather 😩
Was exactly what i needed for a weekend of adventuring. Beautiful location, facilities and great fitted kitchen. It was lovely and warm in the hut and even had some lovely flap-jack waiting for me!
Hosts were both really friendly and happy to answer questions and chat.
The location was easy to find and was an easy 10 min walk to settle for pubs , shops and restaurants. The Shepards hut was fantastic and warm And there was a log burner there to get even warmer should you feel the need . It was brand new . The bed was amazing and when you opened the blinds in the morning you could see the countryside. Every detail was just so lovely . I will be going back without a doubt to this wonderful Shepards hut . Thank you Jan and Steve for a lovely stay
Volumes of hot water with a peaty cast; a genuine sense that this 17th century Inn had been, and still was, an important part of a small community; and, finally, Friday quiz night when we all got convivially bibulous together. (It's as well they shut the bar!)
