Location very quiet and safe. Bed so comfy and large. Hosts very responsive. We enjoyed the stay with our greyhound. She loved the little garden. We would visit again.

Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The chalet was very clean and comfortable. We were provided with everything we needed and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was very good and served promptly. It was in a very quiet location, albeit down a narrow road. We were warmly welcomed and very well looked after.

The cabin was pretty well kept and was very comfortable for my partner and I. There was easy access to local areas. Additionally, the welcome packet gave us a great idea of the cabin and how it works, and the surrounding area - even suggesting somewhere to eat.

We had a lovely stay at The Rivers Arms, it’s in such a peaceful location but not far to explore the area by car. Our cabin was cosy, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short break. We didn’t miss having a TV, it’s nice to have a break from it actually. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable and are working hard to please their guests. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the property has a homely feel, cosy bar area and breakfast area and lounge with lovely vintage furnishings and china.

Very cosy log cabin with streams, rivers and the sounds of the country all around you. The owners are welcoming and the accommodation is lovely, but dont expect TV, WiFi or any of the city comforts. Perfect gettaway for city and town folk wanting to shut off. USB charging point and a log burner is it. Lovely shower facilities are the closest to home you're gonna get. Perfect for us and people who want a complete break from the noise of modern life.
