The 24/7 support by the manager, Victoria, who remained available via whatsapp, sms and mail attending rapidly to any problem that cropped up. The caring attitude ensuring at all times that we are comfortable and getting all the services that we paid for. She was not dealing with customers but with human being. The location of the lodge midway between University and the town centre.

Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Welcome from Gerry, and previous communications with hosts set the scene for a dog friendly best of the best stay in a secluded quite restful part of Devon. The wooden terrace area for outdoor living is beautiful and the garden was spacious and our dog was welcome to explore, we supervised at all times. Bread, butter, fizz was a wonderful addition to this 5 star luxury living. Huge thank you to our hosts.

It was lovely and quiet. The Shepherds Hut had lots of character and the kids specially loved the bunk bed. It was the perfect location for a trip to Diggerland.

A convivial welcome into a a very attractive property. The restaurant is a great space with lots of light and nice touches. Checking in was a good experience and my room was large with solid wooden bed and tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom was in a wet room that combined well and shower was decent. There were many classy touches throughout my stay and the food in the evening was top notch and the breakfast fantastic. Would recommend this to any in the area. It was a treat to stay there with such lovely staff and hosts
