We loved everything about this lodge. The owners were lovely, the lodge was perfect for a week away. It was clean, warm and everything we needed was available. The shower was incredible! And very comfortable bed too! Really nice welcome hamper when we arrived with local produce in and option to have breakfast if wanted. Tim and Karen gave us some great suggestions of walks and places to go in the local area. It is the perfect place for a peaceful break or holiday with beautiful scenery and nice long walks by the lake or on the fells. Lovely secure garden for the dog to enjoy and not have to be tied up like in most places we have been. We have already looked to book again for next year!

The lodge was lovely and very well equipped.
Easy to check in (contactless, not locked and the key was in the lodge), so arrival times were not an issue.
Love the surroundings and nature where you can walk around the compound with a great view.
We were in the new part of holiday park thus was very secluded, quiet and great view.

The location was stunning and we loved the hot tub. The cabin was spotless and great value for money. Josh was an amazing host and could not do enough for us.
Beautiful and cosy cottage with original features and excellent facilities. Lovely touches such as welcome gifts and the wooden church mice that my daughter loved searching for. Fab location in centre of Cockermouth, perfect for access to anywhere in West Lakes. Lots of amenities in close walking distance.
Well equipped tastefully furnished and surprisingly quiet despite being near road Loved the window shutters. Bathroom great,bed comfy and cake and croissants much appreciated. Great location for exploring.
The cabin is clean and modern. We were visiting family in the area and it was the perfect place to stay. Josh the host was available when we needed and was very helpful. The hot tub is a lovely bonus!
The breakfast was superb with plenty of options. The staff were always attentive and helpful and cheery especially the breakfast staff. The quality of the breakfast food cannot be improved upon. The room was airy with plenty of light and with radiators that could be turned off. The windows could be opened to let air in and the cleaners didn't keep shutting them.

The bedroom was really clean, spacious and the things in the room were well thought out.
There was even a little wooden box in room with random thoughtful things like bottle opener, sewing kit etc
