Absolutely stunning property, would definitely book here again as it was beautiful scenery aswell as the actual lodge. The booklet that has a list of what is near such as restaurants, local taxi numbers, and even petrol stations was very helpful.

We can't put into words how good our stay at Newland Valley Log Cabins was. We arrived in the dark and the cabin was lit for us with the log fired already laid out.
The cabin is sensational and the pictures don't do it justice.
There is everything you could possibly need for your stay and with a Booths just down the road you can stock up easily.
The communication from Louise and her team is brilliant and all instructions and guidance is attentive and informative.
We will definitely be back and we can't recommend highly enough.
Thank you so much!

Me and my new wife enjoyed our stay so much I thought the place would be a bit bigger when seeing the pictures but after arriving it was perfect and snug
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The location is perfect. The cottage was well stocked with appliances, dishes and extra towels as needed. The gas fireplace made for very cozy evenings.
The site is located within walking distance of Cartmel, and although basic, which is specified on the site, the cabin is great for an affordable weekend break away.
Really cozy cabin which was surprising spacious for 3 adults inside, it kept warm at night so we didn’t need loads of layers and it was so close to both the coast line and lakes that we did a hike in the morning and could still watch a sunset in the evening on the beach 😊
