Shepherds Hut in enclosed field, hotel in Cardiff

Boasting garden views, Shepherds Hut in enclosed field features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 17 km from Cardiff Castle.

This place was perfect to unwind and destress. There was no TV or wifi which was a huge benefit when needing to relax. Quality towels and bedding were provided, which was a lovely touch. My dog loved our own private paddock to play ball. He loved being in the quiet with no noise of people or traffic.

The DeerView Lodge, hotel in Cardiff

Featuring garden views, The DeerView Lodge provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Cardiff Castle.

Daniela contacted us prior to the stay to check whether we wanted to use the hot tub and to take additional payment. The hot tub was ready to use on our arrival and was worth the extra pennies. There is a security camera that looks over the hot tub, this felt a little invasive of our privacy. The villa itself is surrounded by beautiful farm land and being able to feed the fish was a nice bonus. The villa was beautifully presented inside and well equipped. Thank you for a lovely stay. We have already recommended the villa to family members. In addition, Daniela made us aware that there would be a dog onsite in advance, we advised her in advance that we did not want to meet the dog and she accommodated this request. This allowed us to feel at ease during the stay. Thank you.

The Grove, hotel in Cardiff

The Grove guest house is located a 5-minute stroll from Weston-Super-Mare beach and just 4 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

The location was excellent. Staff friendly and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The price was excellent at £75 a night including breakfast so when you think about vat, booking fees and breakfast out that price it’s a bargain

All cabins in Cardiff
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Run by the owner Mario, his family have been running this hotel for many years. Nothing was to much other and all the staff were extremely considerate and kind. We were kindly giving a downstairs room with easier access for my husband which was deal. This hotel is next to the M4 but, once Yuma E shut the glass doors, you could not hear any traffic at all.

Cozy little place with enclosed field which was great for the dogs. The veranda was a lovely evening sun trap which we enjoyed. It was chilly in the morning but the hut heated up really quickly with the log burner. Would definitely come back.

Everything!! The whole set up. The Shepherd Hut has everything you need, very comfortable, the surrounding is very peaceful and private. I also didn’t have to worry about my dogs. They could roam free which made it that much more special.

Location was brilliant. Large studio could sleep all 3 of us very comfortably. Extra duvets and pillows left out, which was really helpful. Coffee machine was a nice luxury. Easy contact about check in and contact numbers, if needed. Considering how central the flat is situated, once windows were shut, it was very quiet and we had a good night sleep on a Saturday night. Lovely bathroom, suitably equipped kitchen. Great location. Slept 3 of us (grown women of a certain age) comfortably.
