We liked every thing about the property , has all what you need for a quick stay, very quiet and we were left to get on with it , which is what we like . When we got to the lodge it was warm with a light on as it was dark when we arrived and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge was a great touch . A booklet of information on every thing you need to know about the lodge and the surrounding area with regards to food and walks , I highly recommend eating at the Holcombe Farm House + Kitchen , great food and good portion size ( 4 min drive ) .

The location is just perfect, also for families travelling withut a car; two buses in different directions! And a perfect place to start your hikes in the morinig + a pub on the other side of the street
We’ve booked for a twin en-suite room and we’ve got a full family log cabin ( we’ll take it ), started well, on site free parking was definitely a plus, overall the cabin was very clean, had tea coffee and tv so we didn’t had to go around looking for a place to watch the euros. Worked just fine for us. Fair quality-price relation.
Absolutely fabulous location, impeccably designed- great views across the fields - just amazing - will definitely be staying here again - we never used the car parking facility that they offered as we didn’t realize they offered it but next time we’d definitely use this as they offered a airport shuttle to and from the airport. Great host, everything was there that we needed, even fresh milk, orange juice and not the UHT stuff that you normally get - thoroughly impressed

Short walk to the bottom entrance to Bristol Airport. Good communication from the owners. If you follow their guidelines it will run smoothly. Nice little chalet/cabins.
Comfy bed. Good size room
Very clean and comfortable. Good quality furnishings. Excellent location. Staff helpful over the phone. There were concealed wooden shutters behind the curtains which were useful. Overall a very good stay.
The hut was clean and well presented. The attention to detail was appreciated. We had a fantastic 4 days there. The fireplace and the hot tub were the highlights. We will return and will also recommend this to other.
The rooms are full of character, and in our opinion much nicer than homogenized hotel rooms.
Loved the huge fireplace in room 1 within which the tv stood. Also the foot thick wall/window sill and the shutters.
The room temperature was just right and the bed was comfortable. We had an excellent sleep. .
The staff were very friendly helpful and welcoming.
And the attached pub served a great pint of Doom bar. Lovely after a long drive and a busy evening in Bristol
