For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
If you’re looking for luxury and attention to detail this is the place for you. I went out for the evening to meet friends and when I arrived back the room had been prepared for me to sleep with the curtains shut, water by the bed and some complimentary chocolates on my pillow. I don’t know where else you would get this in the city centre area.
Breakfast was a choise of cornflakes and weetabix in 1 kg. boxes. The boxes were already open and used by others. The Bodum French press was extremly unhygienic with old coffe and green mould...and a smell in the kitchen cabinet. In one bedroom the lamp at the bed didnt work. in the other bedroom the bed base missed a piece so we sank into the bed. There is electic sensors for the light that cannot be switched of; in the bathroom it switches off all the time, and in rest of the flat it switches on at night ...
Cheap and cheerful for price and what we got. Would stay again if in Belfast. Couple of bars around the area if you don’t want too go far and they shut around 11 so no noise. The lady that checked us in was lovely and helped us so much in telling us where to go
The cosy cabin was quiet and well located with easy access in and out of the city centre. The host made prompt contact with clear instructions for how to get there (a little tricky with a sharp turn off a driveway off a main road) but with his video it made it perfectly clear and finding the keys on our arrival was a breeze.
The property was very clean just like the pictures. The area was lovely and felt safe and very close to the city.
My stay was only for one night, but I quite enjoyed it. Ana was very accommodating as I had arrived earlier than the usual check in time. The cabin was lovely and there was tea, coffee hot chocolate available which was quite nice as well.
Was in an outside cabin, bit like a caravan, great if you are on a budget..very handy. Cathy was very kind and helpful and will always double check if you have all you need.
