The garden was far bigger than expected and was brilliant for our dogs. We had two dogs with us as we were competing in local agility shows. Will be even better when the hedges mature creating more privacy.
Had a lovely few days here, the lodge was quiet, warm & comfortable and had everything we needed, including access to EV Chargers.

The Shepherd Hut is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We booked it as a base to use while exploring the Peak District and doing lots of walking but could have happily stayed in every day as the hut was so comfortable and cute! The owners put so much thought into making it cozy and welcoming, with sweets, wine, flowers and cake, as well as lots of local information leaflets to help you make the most of your stay. It has everything you need with a toaster, coffee machine, cooker, hob alongside lots of extras right up to a pint of milk in the fridge! There is decent wifi in the hut and a TV with services including Netflix. The bed is big and really comfy and although there is a wood burning stove, we did not need to use it as the heating worked so well that within 15 minutes of turning it on, the hut was warm throughout. A really special place with beautiful views. We would love to return in the summer months.

We’ve stayed here numerous times. Great location, gorgeous property and fantastic hosts.
Situated in a converted Grade II listed barn, Pillarbox Cottage features a fully fitted kitchen, high ceilings and original beams still present from its 17th-century origins.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The kitchen was fully stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. It had plenty of cooking equipment. The location was very central and the cabin was so cosy. The quirky interior was really beautiful. The bathroom was also stocked with essentials! The cabin was just so lovely and brilliant value for money! We will be returning.
The cabin is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect place to chill and unwind for a couple of days. The fairy lights inside and out were a lovely touch. We'll definitely be coming back.
The facilities on site were exceptional, From the cabins, the bar and restaurant, and two pool tables, the location was excellent, the views was amazing a short distance towards Buxton into the peak District were nothing short of amazing
