Our hosts were proactive, gave us directions before we needed them. The location and views are spectacular, and we were lucky to have had dry sunny weather during our stay. It is a spacious cottage, so glad they didn't try and cram an extra bedroom in; instead there is a massive upstairs lounge area with great views.
Didn't use the cooking facilities but it had a clean, well appointed kitchen; coffee & tea & milk for us on arrival were a nice touch.
Most comfy bed i've ever had outside my own home - lovely!

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
The smell of raw sewage coming from an open manhole inside the building was lovely.
The run down exterior appearance at this property had the quaint charm of a crack den.
The broken glass outside my room where a window had been replaced did not fill me with confidence that I could leave any belongings here safely.
The kicked in back door which was broken and then screwed shut filled me with confidence that all fire and safety procedures were being followed to the fullest.
Breakfast bit pricey at £10 but there was plenty of it, room was very dated needs redecorating & TWO bedside cabinets / needed more than 3 clothes hangers in wardrobe. We stayed in room 104 double bed was small need larger / toilet seat slipped when sat upon all easy fixes. Good bar but shuts at 10pm weekdays / Staff were very friendly & chatty the cleaner / waitress Alison was a delight really good craic. Would i stay here again YES perfect for us & easy drive to centre
.
We laughed. Our friend had a double bed. We had 2 singles with a huge cabinet in between but we are 78 years young.room was at the b@ck. large and very warm. Breakfast was excellent as usual.
Room needed updating and tv did not work plus there was a door in the hall way that slammed all night .other room doors also slammed shut at 6 am etc next door .
Stayed here 30 years ago and doesn’t seem to have changed .
Won’t be stopping again
Should give me a refund for what I went through

We traveled to have a spa break to be told it was shut till 6th jan and wasn’t told prior to booking also the hotel price was cheaper by £100 booked on booking.com wish I had cancelled and rebooked which is frustrating
Modern hotel with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Happy to assist with printing requirements I needed.
Lovely breakfast. Shuttle to the airport if needed
The way spoke down to plus meds stole off me and told shut up never a min to hear am very ill sick place needs shut down plz never go near here and this me booking a place near ever week
It was clean, spacious with everything you need. I arrived late & the shops were shut but I was pleased to find tea/coffee etc… and milk in the fridge.
The breakfast was a nice touch and we decided to leave it till the last day when we were in a rush. The bed was quite comfy and the whole flat was pretty well equipped. There's a cabinet in the hall with lots of DVD movies and there's a DVD player in the living room.
