Looking for a cabin?
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Bearing in mind how little we paid for the room it mostly met our expectations. The room was clean and whilst the bed was smaller than we are used to it was comfortable. The shutter on the window worked well to keep light out and traffic noise. The car park was very secure and provided peace of mind.

Location was great, good to have parking on site, everything was very clean and we appreciated the extras such as coffee available. We stayed here for the ANZAC Day dawn service in nearby Villers Brettoneux so it was amazing to have the window shutters that blocked out the light so we could have a catch-up nap during the day.

The L'Oratoire is a beautiful little place in the centre of Amiens. It has a very nice Interior, a comfy bed, roller shutters and is all around well equipped. The owner is very friendly and reachable any time. I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely homely apartment, comfortable beds, beautifully furnished, owners friendly and welcoming! We arrived very late and left very early as a stop over on the way to the LeShuttle and this was no trouble! Would definitely stay here again! Pictures don’t do the apartment justice!

The decor was lovely, very traditional French but also felt modern which was nice. The breakfast area and food was excellent and the hostess was attentive, friendly and accommodating throughout. We had the top most room in the place which did take 3 flights of stairs to climb to get into the room but the room was exceptionally laid out and perfect for our use. The shutters on all the velux windows was really great and meant we were able to get our children off to sleep and not be woken at first dawn light!

Great location for a last minute stop off before the early morning shuttle. Walking distance (10-20 mins) to some really nice bars and restaurants too.

Fantastic location to the centre of Amiens- we went in December so could walk to the Christmas market. It has a small shop and boulangerie around the corner (there is also a small supermarket in the centre). The accommodation is great, bed very comfortable and a kitchen that has pretty much everything you need (even dishwasher/washing machine). The owner was very friendly and helpful, we were very late because of the motorway shutting down but she was very understanding. We parked our car nearby at the cirque car park which is free.

The location was good and the staff very helpful. We did the valet parking which worked really well. The spa was outstanding and definitely worth doing. it was state of art and a great way to spend a relaxing couple of hours. Amien was a great place to end our tour of France and a very easy 1.5 hours drive to Calais to get the shuttle back to the UK.

Great location, great communications with host, good instructions for getting into the apartment. There was good enough space in the living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Bed was good and blackout shutters kept the place incredibly dark. We just had 1 night but it all worked well. Oh, and since our checkout day was Sunday, we just pulled the car out to the street out front and left it there for free parking until we left the city at 3pm.
