Aux Kotas is a unique and amazing place we will definitely return to, with more time to take advantage of all there is to do in the area (hiking, kayaking, waterskiing, etc.) … The Finland-style huts are extremely comfortable and impeccably maintained. The beds and sheets are top-quality. Star-gazing before bedtime was truly memorable. Breakfast with home-made yogurt and flaky croissants was a plus. Highly recommended!

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Location to beach and shops was good
Beautiful beach front by the lake
Nice kitchen with table and chairs
Lovely little balcony to sit out
Shutters and air conditioning very welcome
Washing machine and clothes airer was very useful
Perfect comfort in a magnificent historical building that has been fully renovated. The palace is the magnum opus of one of Aix's great hôteliers, who hosted Queen Victoria. High ceilings, marble, wooden flooring, red carpets and a commanding view from the courtyard. The interior of the apartment is brand new, well laid out, decorated with taste. Responsive hosts with attention for detail.
The rooms were large and have balconies. The toilet and bathroom were separate.
Ours also had a full size fridge. Whilst there were no shutters the curtains kept out the light very well.
The indoor swimming pool, hamman and sauna are free to use for hotel guests. But if you want a spa treatment you'd need to book ahead as they get booked up early.
Breakfast was OK. There were a variety of pastries, some hot food, good quality jams, various hot drinks and 2 types of juice.
