For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The cabin is exceptional. It has a jacuzzi facing the lake, a wooden sauna, an outdoor pergola where you can rest and relax. Absolute tranquility. And then there is also the kindness and friendliness of Ismo, the owner. We will try to repeat it and we will definitely recommend it to our loved ones as we passed really lovely and unforgettable days in there.
The secluded private shoreline with its own little jetty and row boat. The views of the lake, and the play of colours in the sky and their watery reflections during the summer nights. Nicely stocked fireplace (though we had no need for it). Good home-cooked breakfast and dinner at reasonable prices.
Everything I would imagine from my winter stay in Finland. Wonderful landscape, quiet, picturesque, saunas by the lake, wooden cabins, woodland. I will definitely come back and in fact cannot wait to come back. Staff were so friendly even though it was so cold and they did not have many other guests. Great memories from this place. Amazing location, secluded cabin on the lake with a private beach and lake access. Spectacular view and facilities, great communication by the owner who was available to clarify and explain everything we needed to know. Highly recommended
