Amazing location with views, peace, tranquility and privacy.
Everything is provided in the property, upon arrival we were welcomed with Red Wine, biscuits, chocolates and Pantone. In the fridge we had bottle of coke and 1L bottle of water and additional 5L of water. We also received a fruit basket which was a really nice gesture. There is a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and coffee pods are provided too, which is the best thing in the morning.
Plenty of toilet papers/towels and toiletries are provided to ensure guests have the best relaxing experience.
Beach towels are provided for 4 people and even out side shower. Hot tub is pure luxury for this accommodation and takes 2-4 hours to warm up. Please note other places in La Montana do not offer hot tub or heated pool. This is the only property with the Hot Tub in the cold/winter months.
Outside BBQ is stocked with charcoal even for January and we really enjoyed the BBQ.

-The historical Casa rural Bentayga is located on a superbly scenic hillside, and it is a great base camp for active hiking family holiday.
-Carmen is a very responsive and awesome host.
-The kitchenware is complete and great, including a very good barbecue/parilla on the terrace. Only minus is the lack of a dishwasher. Oven cannot be used at the same time as the induction stoves, but as there is a great gas barbecue, this did not make any difference to us.
-There are two good size private bedrooms with one having two 80*200 cm beds and another one having 140*200 cm beds, which are great. In addition, there is a 140*200 cm basic couch bed in the living room. The house is ideal for a family of 3-4 persons.
-Fresh fruits and (almond) specialties can be bought from La Culata and Tejeda.
-Good storage places for everything in rooms, kitchen and bathroom/toilet.
-Possibility to easily reach the house also by bus from Tejeda (which gives looping possibilities for hikes).
-Note in your day planning that on winter months, the sunny hours on the terrace are quite scarce as the sun is low behind the mountains quite a bit. Around New Year the sunny hours were from about 12.30 until 16.45. Then again much longer sunshine hours can be easily gained on nearby villages&hikes.
-The access road is steep and narrow, so a very big car can be a problem, and it's good to have some torque. (we had a small petrol engine car with no sensors and nevertheless managed, but it's not ideal)

The Apartment is located in a good area, close to shops and the beach. At first, we were impressed with the facilities, many cabinets to store your clothes and many kitchen utensils like pans and pots, cutlery and plates, toaster, microwave etc .

The communication with Tony and his husband was very good. Tony’s husband met me in front of the building to gave me the keys and explained me everything. The apartment was very clean when I arrived and smelled really fresh. Some water was provided upon my arrival. The bedroom has shutters. The kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment has a smart TV so I could play my music videos from YouTube on it. Tony was responding very quickly to my messages. Thank you.
Nice apartment, has a spacious living room and two bedrooms. Nice if you are travelling with kids or with 4 people, but fine as well for couples. It has a shared common area with a fireplace and snacks for the guests. The location is nice, next to hiking areas and has a few restaurants in the town. I would recommend it for people who want to hike around and enjoy activities during the day (there isn't much to do at night in the town).
very modern and clean with all the amenities needed. very good cooking equipment. Nice touch to have salt/pepper/olive oil and coffee filters + cleaning products. bedroom was quiet and dark with all doors shut.
Characterful Spanish apartment with wooden beams and window shutters. Very attractive communal courtyard .. unfortunately weather too cold to make use of.
