Although I´m German, I´m writing this in English, so more people can read about how awesome this place is. And I´m normally the guy who´d advise you to just skip past the one and ten star reviews as the truth is in most cases in those with a more nuanced rating.
Nontheless the name of this place is "Oasis Hill Botanical Garden". And the place truely delivers on that name. We literally had our cabin in a botanical garden. We always had breakfast just the two of us on a terrasse from which you have a view on the ocean and the Teide at the same time.
We found this place accidentally as we initially booked another place in La Orotava and that other place although we had a reservation confirmed by booking via mail and phone ... just wouldn´t let us in and left us standing at the gate.
This place ... they brought us cake on our second day. I´m not even kidding.

This is a very beautiful house with lots of space inside and out. The gardens are lovely and well looked after. It is very clean and kitchen well stocked for cooking. Short walk to town with supermarkets and bars.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Very nice and warm welcome of the owner. Lovely setting in a historic building with a very quiet courtyard where you can enjoy good food and excellent coffee. Very nice room with wooden floor, roof and furniture. Definitely a very good place to discover La Orotava and surroundings.
This cozy mountain chalet surpassed our expectations. We were taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony. The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. This place was perfect for our week getaway.
I recommend this appartment for everyone who values:

Sauna, Jacuzzi and fireplace is shared with other holidayappartments which wasn’t a problem at all.
It's such a beautiful historic building. It takes your breath away when you enter the rooms with huge vaulted wooden ceilings and polished wooden floors. Authentic materials and atmospheric design throughout, but still managed a very comfortable bed and excellent hot shower! The restaurant served some of the best food we've had in the Canaries. Home made and delicious. Staff are brilliant. We'll be back.
Incredible location! Especially if you want to go hiking in the Teide park. We also loved the fireplace, sauna and swimming pool and how relaxed the staff were although we were caught in a snow storm.

The hotel is good. The very best option if you want to explore Teide national park. It is a bit expensive, yet you can find good deals if booked beforehand.
The room is clean and comfortable, it also has heating. The hotel itself is kind a retro / authentic.
There is a fireplace in lobby bar. There is aslo a cafeteria in the same building, but it is open 10-19 and pretty expensive. Yet you have a kettler and tea in your room.
Despite some negative reviews, I found the hotel to be excellent. The location is so amazing I would happily stay in a hut, but having such a nice hotel in such a great location is something special. The staff are efficient and friendly, the food is varied and of a high quality and the rooms, though simple, were quite comfortable. Yes, it's more expensive than many comparable hotels elsewhere, but the location is such that it's actually reasonably priced. I would come back again, and probably will, in a heartbeat.
