Talist Siwa, hotel in Siwa

Set in Siwa in the Marsa Matrouh region, Talist Siwa offers accommodation with free private parking. The lodge offers a terrace.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. They have clearly put time, effort, and resources into its construction and decoration, and it was absolutely wonderful to stay in such a gorgeous place and see the carefully-selected, locally-crafted decor. It was a genuine pleasure to be in the rooms, walk around the property, and be in all the common areas. The owners are kind and communicative, and they are great cooks to boot! (The food was solidly fine - we had 2 breakfasts and a dinner there.) The room was large, comfortable, and well decorated, and had a lovely little porch area to sit and watch the desert - and a helpful drying rack for wet clothes. The staff are very nice, friendly, and helpful. There is free drinking water; and the staff will make you a lovely hibiscus tea. This hotel is also eco-friendly - they seemed to limit the use of plastic as much as possible, which I hugely appreciated. I greatly enjoyed my stay, and really do recommend this hotel!

Paloma Lodge, hotel in Siwa

Situated in Siwa in the Marsa Matrouh region, Paloma Lodge has a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment has private entrance.

I was originally supposed to only stay one night at Paloma Lodge from 6 Nov to 7 Nov, but because I enjoyed my stay here so much, I decided to extend for 4 more nights, only checking out on 10 Nov instead. Paloma Lodge is very well located, with only about 5 mins’ walk away from Siwan town centre where all the restaurants, cafés and shops are located. Apart from that, it’s only a stone’s throw away from a fresh water spring, where it’s perfect for an early morning or mid-afternoon swim. The host, Captain Nair, is super kind, warm and hospitable! He made me feel very welcomed and because I was a solo female traveller, he would check on me when I’m out later in the evening. In fact, he invited me to dinners at the lodge with lovely meals, either prepared by the good Captain himself, or his lovely housekeeper, Safie! The lodge is very tastefully decorated and kept very clean. The one-room apartment that I stayed in was very cosy and was sufficiently equipped with kitchen appliances, such as; electric kettle, toaster oven and a fridge. I will definitely stay at Paloma Lodge again, when I come back to Siwa!! It was a very enjoyable and cosy homestay which felt like you are with family. A home away from home.

Breakfast and dinner were always amazing. The location is well outside of the town but that meant it was so peaceful and relaxing compared to Cairo. Tea and a fire were a great way to relax after seeing all that Siwa has to offer.

Grand Siwa, hotel in Siwa

Situated in Siwa, Grand Siwa features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Siwa, itself, is a magical place, and a place of intense and serene healing energy. I loved the salt lake and the mountain of the dead, the hot springs, Shali, and most of all my host, Ali made wonderful food and was always ready to be of loving service to his guests. His warmth, his heart, and his smile made me feel safe and trusting. We communicated well by IPhone google translator. He is a thoughtful and heartfelt communicator. He is a loving presence, a healing presence, and embodies the energy of Siwa. I wish I could have stayed longer. I think the healing results would have been cumulative, intensive, and long lasting. I felt the energy of the oasis: salt and the rock, flowed strongly through my body, and the first night I felt purified, and all my worry and stress left. My mind and heart became still, and strong. I would recommend staying at least 3 full days, and if you would like to more fully get the health and energetic benefits, 2 weeks would be terrific. Next time I come I will stay 2 weeks.

All cabins in Siwa
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Nice location, a few km/away from the city center and it's hustle and bustle but easily to reach in tuktuk and perfect if you wan't to rest in a peaceful and quiet place. Friendly staff with interesting recommendations if you want to explore the surrounding area. My friend and I stayed 3 nights in a hut: simple but exactly what we were looking for. We would've like to spend at least 2 or 3 more nights there in order to enjoy linger the different pools and to see more of the oasis. Thank you and see you soon!

Forest Camp is a little piece of paradise, full of date palms fruit trees and plants The camp is run by marvellous people who I will never forget. So creative and helpful and full of fun. This has been a place very difficult to leave. I loved my hut made of palm fronds. It was very comfortable and atmospheric. There is a pool to swim in and relax by and the Forest people can take you on guided trips to all the sights Every morning I had a delicious breakfast under the trees.

A very special and wonderful hotel in the sense of the word as it is on a completely independent island in the salty Siwa Lake and consists of chalets completely separated from each other The island is located on the middle of a small lake, or is it the water of a large water like the swimming pool and the water out of the ground, and it's a fresh and clean water For the hotel and the standard of the rooms it is not very luxurious but somewhat primitive to suit the nature around it is wonderful anyway

Very interesting and relaxing experience, out of ordinary: you will stay in a hut made by leaves, in a green area of Siwa, but near the city center. There are very good vibes at Forest Camp and Naggar, the manager, is very helpful, calm and lovely. It's highly recommended (if you are not looking for a luxury accommodation). I will definitely come back here if in town.

We love it’s isolation - away from the busy, populated streets like Cairo. The location is a few metres away from the natural Salt Lake with a private cabin for public use but it seems not many use it all - a true gem!

If u are looking for peaceful moment, alone, relax, and nice experience in a cabin at the desert, this is your place. The breakfast is amazing and Jawad (the guy was working there) is the number 1 reason I enjoyed the place. He made everything nice - so check if he is still there, without him my days would be complicated. the place is close from a very nice spring hot water.
