For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Service, level of attention is out of this world, the staff is just incredible. We felt like at home
We were welcome with a cold drink and even we arrived earlier than check in time they did everything to give us the room ASAP.
Also the shuttle bus they have for free to the public ferry
Great villa with a great pool and always available host. This is perfect for a dip after a super hot Egyptian day. Staff were constantly cleaning and maintaining the property, the host is always available and there is a free shuttle to the ferry crossing. Would have been easily 10/10 hadn't it been for the issue below.
Very nice building at a quiet place at the West Bank with free shuttle boat to the East Bank. This hotel is located at the riverside close to reeds and we enjoyed the time sitting in the garden seeing things around us. Our room was with a big and beautiful balcony and we had a good view at the Nile from our balcony. There were two cute geckos in our room.
The entrance of the hotel is lovely. We arrived late in the evening, around 9 pm, so didn't really check out the place and just went to the room. The room is big enough and has a balcony. We didn't open it, as it seemed we wouldn't be able to close it if we did. The room was very basic and not very appealing. But it did the job. A little cabinet on the wall with a mirror had a drawer that kept opening.
We had to leave for a balloon ride at 4:30 in the morning, so after a short night, we already left.
The place (bedrooms, washroom, open spaces) is clean and spacious. View of the Nile and city is good. The host and staff are supportive. They allowed us a very early check-in at 7:30 am.
Food at the restaurant is also good. Complimentary shuttle facility is available to reach the west bank ferry station.
Very nice view from the cabin window and the rooftop , excellent food , especially the oriental food , very clean , friendly staff , thank you mr. Maher .
The location is brilliant for seeing all the sights, with the complementary shuttle boat across to the east bank to see the rest being a bonus. Marina made us feel very at home, I was even given a birthday cake to help celebrate my 50th birthday . Pool was very well maintained.
The camp is very cozy with it's own yard which is nice for chilling. The location is also very good, the area is very quiet and there's a lot of locals around. The owner is also nice, after the first night he let us change from the hut to a real room for free. Good, cheap restaurant next door, Rustic House.
