There’s no doubt that Bastian and Katja’s place gave us a wonderful experience of Switzerland. The two bedroom house features spacious balcony with spectacular view, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Bastian and Kathy went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, including a full kitchen facilities. They even provided condiments, tea sachets and other thoughtful essentials, ensuring our stay was as convenient as possible.
We took cable car up to Embd, and this place is located 1 minutes away, down the road outside the cable car station.
We faced a small inconvenience on the day of our checkout, as it fell on a Wednesday (the day the cable car undergoes weekly maintenance). This resulted in reduced service in the morning. We had to check out early to catch the earlier cable car and avoid a long wait for the next one.
So, I really recommend checking in early to make the most of your stay!

The location is perfect. Beautiful scenery surrounded by the snowy mountains and classic houses remind me of the Hobbit film. The owner also very friendly and helpful. Grachen also consider to be a cheaper option if you are planning to go to Zermat.

Fantastic chalet in the heart of the mountains! You have a very nice view from the balcony. You are 10 minutes away from the city center and the main ski facilities. The decor is charming. The room was clean. The kitchen fully equiped. The check-in was « no contact », but the administrator provided all the necessary informations. The parking space is a plus.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The cabin is renovated within the last couple of years. It is well done, good functionality and quality work. I slept in a dorm with, believe, six beds. The staff is very kind. Thanks.
Nice hut with modern showers and bathrooms. It was extremely clean. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The terrace is nice but it was raining when we were there.
The view is fantastic! It is a 15 minute steep walk from the top of the furnicular, so you are really up in the high mountains (without a lot of effort to get there!). They recently renovated an old hut, so all is new and fresh. All the rooms are bunkbeds. The food is great! Staff are all very nice. You can do some nice walks from the hotel.
