Looking for a cabin?
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Location is good - quiet yet still very close to Nelson. Private, scenic. Cabins are small but cozy. Kitchen small but cozy, fairly well stocked.

Kitchen had all the stuff you needed. I parked my car the whole time and walked everywhere. Even took the shuttle up to Whitewater.

We loved the design of the cabin and the character of the compound. The coffee station was super cool! And the outdoor shower was the best.

The location is great and the cabin is cosy. We didn't need anything from our host, but he checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. There is no AC, but due to the shaded tree coverage, we stayed cool and never needed the fan provided. Temperature was in the high 20 to low 30 Celsius range. The creek was beautiful. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies and seasoning. We loved it enough that we want to go back next year at some point.

The cabin was spotless and it had all the comforts of home. It was very cozy and was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked and the cupboards were well organized. The wood stove added to the homey ambience and it was handy that it was connected to the thermostat.

Location was amazing, everything you want within 500m and a shuttle up to whitewater goes from outside the door. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The kitchen has a lot of utensils for cooking and was kept really clean and tidy. Upstairs the lounge area is so comfortable to hang out with other guests in, or even to chill alone. Great storage facilities for my gear and for drying out my wet snow stuff.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. You get a real alpine cabin feel without being too far from town. The full kitchen is great. We stayed in most nights to enjoy the cabin and have home cooked meals. It's a short walk to the lake, there is a little beach which you can have a picnic at. It's also fun to climb along the rocks on the shoreline. The owners are so nice and helpful, but also really respect your privacy. Will 100% come again when we are back in Canada.
