An extremely beautiful property with a lot of attention to detail. Luigi is a great host, very attentive and responsive to requests and queries online or in person, gives great recommendations for restaurants, and is very respectful to the privacy of the guest. The property is a little walk from the town (15 - 20 minutes), but it is outstanding and worth the extra effort. The rooms are spacious and bright - all the facilities are new and everything is impeccably clean! You have your own private washrooms of course, but there is an additional shower and tap outside to clean the sand off yourself at your own convenience. The garden and plants have been aesthetically planned, there are chairs and a hammock to enjoy the afternoon sun and the sounds of the birds, and around the corner a fire pit, washing machine and washing line. It is a really wonderful and peaceful place and my only regret is not staying longer as we did not have the time to learn about or visit the indigenous community. I would love to come back in the future, it is one of the most beautiful and unique places I have stayed and I cannot recommend it enough :)

We had an unforgettable stay at Livia’s place in Trancoso! Livia herself was wonderful—so kind, thoughtful, and generous. The space was beautifully equipped with everything we could need: fresh drinking water, coffee, hot water showers, pool towels, luxurious shampoo, and a well-stocked kitchen. We especially loved the privacy of the villa, nestled in lush jungle gardens full of charm (we even saw adorable monkeys!). The outdoor kitchen and private access to the pool and jacuzzi made it feel like our own slice of paradise, and daily cleaning kept everything spotless.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet location felt like an oasis, yet it was still just a short walk to the Quadrado for amazing food, shopping, and beach days. Being close to the center for groceries was also super convenient. This place was everything we’d hoped for and more—a perfect couple’s retreat in Trancoso. We loved every minute of it!

Great couple who run the place, very friendly and nice. Very good breakfast and the place is really sweet and delicious. Owners don't really speak much english, but you can get by.

Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Immediately you will be taken by the lovely, elegant decor at the chalet . You will be even more taken by the cleanliness! It’s not often you find such a lovely spot in Caraiva. You can also be sure check-in will be easy and accessible. The commute to the town was a charming boat ride.

Do Satu Beachclub was fantastic. Cabin with amazing views, simple but good. All you need with jungle feel. The family behind it, the staff, the beach all fantastic. Very good food, cocktails and service. Music was insane! DJ and live singing. Visit after you have settled a bit and adjusted to the Bahian vibe! Would love to tweak the place a little to barefoot chic luxury.
