For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Our cabin was warm and comfortable. It was very clean and modern and had everything we needed, including electric blankets.
It was a great location. We planned on staying 2 nights but liked it so much that we stayed an extra night.
Mick and Prue were really friendly and helpful hosts. We were delighted with our cabin, which was roomy and very comfortable. The beds were nice and comfy too. Nice and close to the village.
A gorgeous cabin right in the heart of Cradle Mountain visitors' area. A walk to the CM shuttle service. The decor suited the alpine feel of the area, surrounded by Bush Pepper Trees. A very private retreat with a lovely wood burning fire.
