For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Location, location, location, where one of the ski lift stations is just right next door. And it's a higher point of the village. Shuttle stop is just across the street. Walking to the Central is not a problem as well. The hotel is way way better than the last one we had at Hotham, way pricier and really bad condition. Love the size of the room, the seemed-newly renovated toilet, the view, tea and kettle. Staying here is much much better than staying as Mansfield, especially for the children.
It has a heated floor on entry and heating in all rooms and bathroom; and lots of blankets! It’s a short walk to the Village Square and also close to the shuttle bus stop.
Great ski hire on the property - very easy and convenient to get organised for the slopes on arrival, good ski room and drying room facilities. Shuttle bus stop right outside accommodation, and a moderate walk into the village that was completely fine when not in ski boots. Room was clean and completely acceptable. Overall, a fine and decent place.
The common area, the beer on tap, the fireplace, the location all were great.
Kitchen facilities were great, but it would have been better to know more about them before arriving - the communication about what was in the chalet could have been a lot better so we could better plan for our stay.
