Quiet, secluded location in natural bush setting. Saw wallaby from back deck. Good selection of DVDs as TV channels limited and mobile phone coverage not great. Bonus was the coffee maker and pods. Didn't need the fire as it was warm but one had been laid in the slow combustion fireplace if we needed it. Well equipped.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Flame Tree Chalet is situated in Booroobin. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The view from the room was spectacular and the cabin felt very private. The weather was cool so we loved having a fireplace. The breakfast provided was appreciated.
What a beautiful, serene haven to enjoy nature and recharge. Absolutely loved waking up to the beautiful view of the rainforest from my bed. The log fire was amazing and kept the chalet super warm and cosy. The spa bath was relaxing, and the rainforest view from the spa bath was intoxicating.
This is the 5th time we have stayed and in various different cabins. All were lovely but this one was our favourite. We will be back. ❤️
Beautiful cabins,.well appointed, great staff at check in, stunning views, generous and delightful breakfast basket, plenty of wood for fireplace, great layout and super. comfy bed. Best bathrobes ever.
Stayed in Chalet, clean, comfortable, fireplace fantastic, beautiful surroundings. Heated pool gorgeous. Unable to rate restaurant as did not have the time to attend. Hiking trail at the bottom of location which was perfect.. lovely live music Sunday which we could hear in rainforest. Unable to comment on staff as didn't need them for anything. Easy check in and check out process. Will book again.
The cabins are spacious for a couple with a great outlook off the balcony to the rainforest, the Spa bath was perfectly situated with views also out to the rainforest. The fireplace in the cabin provided plenty of heat for the chilly nights and really cosy to sit around.
Everything was wonderful. Perfect location to takes drives around the hinterland, go on bushwalks and visit the little towns. The cabin was superb, with a fireplace and hot tub and everything provided - including breakfast provisions and fresh baked pastries every morning. The hosts were amazing, so helpful but also respected privacy. Would highly recommend and we will return for sure.
Where to start.... Location is a couple of kms outside of Montville and yet feels like you are nowhere near anything or anyone. An excellent spot to recharge your batteries and simply shut off. Cabin was awesome and the fireplace, woodwork and facilities were next level.
Jack greeted us and is the best host I have had. Super attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Gave some great tips on where to eat like a local and didn't disappoint. Hot tubbing in a magnesium 41 degree hot tub under the starts is amazing and must be tried.
